What needed solving
The hotel had two locations, nine room types and changing availability, and it needed guests to book and pay without calling. Rooms should only be held once payment is confirmed, so the booking flow had to be clear and trustworthy.
How we approached it
We built a custom PHP booking website. Guests filter rooms by location, see price, capacity, amenities and whether a room is available or fully booked, then follow a four-step flow: guest details, stay details, payment and confirmation. Payment is taken online through Paystack, a receipt and invoice are emailed, and the booking summary updates as dates change. Surulere and Lekki each have a story page, and The Rock Lounge rooftop is promoted for events.
What changed
What the platform does, in detail
Each room shows Available or Fully Booked, so guests never chase a room that is gone.
A guided four-step flow ends in a confirmed booking and an emailed invoice.
Surulere Hotel and Lekki Apartments each have their own page with distance and check-in details.
Guests filter by location and sort by price.
The Rock Lounge rooftop bar has its own enquiry option.
Guest numbers, 24/7 service and reviews build confidence.
