Zentro Sites is building its entire digital platform in TypeScript: the public website, the booking and quote flow and the pricing logic behind it.

What needed solving
Phemmy needed to look as trustworthy as an established airport transfer brand and work like a modern booking product from day one. Customers arrive from abroad, often on a phone, and want to know the price and the vehicle before they commit. Pricing was also complicated: metered taxi fares, fixed airport routes by car or van, and private tours priced per vehicle, in Icelandic krona, in two languages.
How we approached it
We designed and built a custom platform in TypeScript rather than adapting a template. A single quote form handles every service type, and pricing rules live in the product, so a visitor sees a clear fare for their trip. The visual identity is bold and high-contrast in the brand's yellow and black, with large photography of Iceland's landscape and real vehicles. The site is fully bilingual, works in light and dark mode and keeps WhatsApp one tap away.

What the platform does, in detail
Visitors choose taxi, airport transfer, private tour or chauffeur, then enter pickup and drop-off (with location detection and a swap button), one-way or return, when, passengers and luggage.
Taximeter rates by vehicle (base fare, booking fee, per-kilometre rate and waiting time), fixed prices on popular Keflavik routes and tours priced per vehicle, all in Icelandic krona.
Seven vehicle classes from Mini to Coach, each with passenger capacity, luggage allowance and rate, so customers pick the right vehicle before booking.
A dedicated Keflavik airport section with fixed-price routes to Reykjavik, the Blue Lagoon, Sky Lagoon and Hvammsvik for a car or a van.
Six private tours such as the Golden Circle, South Coast and Snaefellsnes, each with duration, price for a car or van and a clear next step.
An English and Icelandic language switch, light and dark mode, cookie preferences and a layout designed for mobile screens first.
Meet and greet, child seat, bicycle and ski equipment can be added to a trip, and the price updates with them.
A searchable FAQ across bookings, airport transfers, tours, payments and cancellations, a contact form with request types and a persistent WhatsApp tab.
We mapped Phemmy's services, vehicles and price rules, and agreed what a customer needs to see before booking.
We created a bold yellow and black identity, typography and components for light and dark mode.
We built the pages, quote engine and pricing logic in TypeScript, with English and Icelandic content.
We tested the booking flow, pricing examples and every page on real phones and desktop browsers.
The site is live and we continue to add features, including deeper booking and business tools.
